A few days ago, Beijing held the 2016 Science and Technology Awards Conference. Huazhong CNC won the first prize of Science and Technology with the project “Study on the key technology of the six-coordinate linkage CNC abrasive belt grinding for blade complex surface finishing”.
This project was jointly completed by Huazhong CNC and Huazhong University of Science and Technology. It developed a six-coordinate linkage CNC belt grinding machine and programming system with independent intellectual property rights. It became a necessary means for high-quality blade manufacturing and solved nuclear power turbines and aviation. The engine blade represents the complex blade profile CNC grinding and finishing problem, breaking the monopoly of foreign technology, enriching and promoting the development of multi-axis linkage processing technology in the domestic high-end CNC machine tool field, and has become the key supporting technology for some major national special projects. First, it provides advanced technological means for large-scale engine blade trial production, and provides much-needed support conditions for energy strategy and independent control of national defense security.
As early as 2009, Huazhong CNC cooperated with Dongfang Steam Turbine Co., Ltd. to carry out joint research and development on the machine tool design, system matching, processing technology and programming of “large-scale blade profile machining six-coordinate linkage CNC abrasive belt grinding machine”. In 2010, he jointly undertaken the 04 special project and developed a six-coordinate linkage CNC belt grinding machine, a special high-grade CNC system and a belt grinding process programming software.
At present, there are 11 MK series six-axis linkage belt grinding machines in Dongfang Steam Turbine Co., Ltd., which are put into production and use well. The equipment works well, which effectively solves the problem of large-blade grinding and polishing, improves the quality of blade manufacturing, and improves the steam turbines, especially The quality of nuclear power turbines has enabled the mass application of domestic high-end CNC systems in the energy field.
