The association is another grand event in the development of the superhard materials industry.
The Zhengzhou International Superhard Materials and Products Symposium has been held every five years since the 1988 anniversary of the birth of synthetic diamonds in China. It has been successfully held in Zhengzhou for five times in 1988, 1993, 1998, 2003 and 2008. The 5th session has representatives from more than 50 leading international companies from 12 countries and regions, as well as internationally renowned experts, scholars and businessmen. There are 538 domestic registered representatives, the actual number of participants is more than 700, and the total number of participants is 1200. The above is the largest international event in the superhard materials industry. Most of the experts and professors involved in the superhard materials industry and people from all walks of life attended the meeting. Among the representatives are academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, professors in higher education institutions, doctoral tutors, postdoctoral fellows, doctors; directors, chief engineers, professor-level senior engineers and researchers of scientific research institutes; chiefs of various enterprises and engineering and technical personnel in the production line; There are also senior management and economic and trade personnel of various units. The conference has effectively promoted the technological advancement of various types of tools such as synthetic diamond, cubic boron nitride, PCD, PDC, PCBN, CVD, and saw blades, grinding wheels, tools, drill bits, etc., and applications in various industrial and civil fields. It has effectively promoted the cooperation and exchange of technology, economy and trade at home and abroad, and made due contributions to the development of the world's superhard materials industry. The conference has been co-organized by international colleagues such as the American Industrial Diamond Association, the Japan Industrial Diamond Association, and the Taiwan Abrasive Processing Society. Some world-renowned company leaders and technical researchers have confirmed and delivered speeches. The Secretariat of the conference has received nearly 100 papers in both Chinese and English, and is currently selecting the best typesetting. It is expected that the level, scale and results of this meeting will exceed the previous ones.
In order to open this meeting, the Secretariat of the conference specially edited and published the Chinese version of the proceedings, and edited the English version of the proceedings. Focus on the display of scientific and technological achievements in the superhard materials industry at home and abroad and the application of related products in different fields, which will play an important role in promoting the scientific and technological exchanges of the industry in the world. In addition, in order to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the birth of Chinese synthetic diamonds, a history of the development of China's superhard materials industry will be prepared. To this end, the "Fifty Years of China's Superhard Materials Industry" was established. After a year of hard work, it has been drafted. The book is an important document of the Chinese superhard materials industry and will be published by the publishing house.
