Sharpening the knife and cutting the woodwork to prepare the window for installation

In order to avoid such troubles, it is recommended that the owners understand the precautions for window installation before installing the windows themselves.

Part1: Sharpening the knife and cutting the woodwork to prepare the window for installation

Before installing the window, you first need to check the window products, see if the installation environment is suitable, whether you need to remove the old windows, etc., and so on.

1. Check if the window products are qualified.

The window must be inspected and accepted when entering the scene. First, the appearance inspection, check whether it is damaged or broken; Second, the size acceptance, check the four sides of the frame, check the square of the fan, warp, to achieve pre-installation quality pre-control.

The second is to check fasteners, hardware, reinforced profiles and metal linings, etc., to see if the surface has been treated with anti-corrosion treatment. If the fixing piece is used, the thickness of the fixing piece should be greater than or equal to 1.5mm, the minimum width should be greater than or equal to 15mm, and the surface should be galvanized.

2, window hole inspection

If you want the window to have good airtightness and stability, it is important to pay attention to the flatness during installation. The key to maintaining flatness is to handle the window openings. Before installing the window, it is necessary to check whether the size of the hole is correct, whether it is horizontal and vertical, and pre-treat the hole that does not meet the requirements.

3. Old window removal method

Many homeowners use old windows to replace old windows, so the old windows need to be removed first. Window removal requires great care to prevent damage to the perimeter of the window and the wall when it is removed. In general, wooden windows are easier to remove, and plastic steel windows and aluminum windows are more complicated.

First, you need to use a blade to cut the sealant on the inside of the window, and then take the window frame. If the window is connected to the wall by expansion bolts, the expansion bolt can be directly removed with a screwdriver. If the expansion bolt is rusted, it can be broken with a Hammer Drill; if it is connected by a connecting piece, the Impact Drill can be directly used. That is, if the window frame is difficult to remove, it is necessary to use a hacksaw to saw and remove the frame against the wall.

Part2: Ensure installation specifications to do window installation supervision

Windows are generally provided by the merchants for installation services, and because the quality of service provided by the merchants is uneven, and some workers' operations are not standardized, at some key nodes, the owners need to keep an eye on them to avoid inadvertently affecting the quality of the windows during use.

1, measuring size

When using aluminum alloy windows, the size of the closed surface of the balcony should be accurately measured before sealing the balcony. The window frame and glass should be processed according to the size of the construction site and delivered to the construction site. Before installation, the window size should be checked to match the size of the opening of the balcony.

2, fixed bracket

Method 1: Fix with a fixed piece

Before installing the window, the base layer of the balcony opening should be cleaned. The base material of the window should be removed from the wall and punched at the fixed point. The expansion bolt or plastic expansion pin is preset to fix the window. When installing the window, first place the window firmly at the hole, fix its position, and fix it with screws and plastic expansion pins.

Method 2: Fix with expansion bolts

In general, bolts are 10 cm long. If some holes are missed, wipe them with cement or the like. The bolts need to be 12 cm long to be directly fixed to the cement casting layer of the original wall to stabilize the window frame. You can knock it by hand. If you find that the wall around the window frame is hollow, you need to go deep.

3, check whether it is right

After the window frame is connected to the window opening, you should check if the window is installed correctly. If the window is not installed properly, the window may become more and more smashed after a period of use. If it is a regular rectangular window, you can directly measure the diagonal of the window (lower left and upper right, upper left and lower right). The length of the two lines must be the same; if it is a circular window, you need to use the horizontal ruler and the ruler. The bubbles in the middle indicate that the window is positive; if it is a sloping window, a hammer is required.

4, styrofoam

After the window is adjusted, you need to make styrofoam to fill the gap between the window frame and the wall. After the styrofoam is cured (usually 2-3 hours, winter takes longer), the excess styrofoam is cut off.

5, install window sash and other accessories

After fixing the window frame, install the window sash and other accessories. Be careful when installing.

6, hit the sealant

After the styrofoam is finished, apply a sealant evenly around the window frame to prevent rainwater from penetrating into the room from the installation gap of the window and the wall.

Part3: Avoid installation misunderstanding window installation precautions

There are many details in the process of window installation. If not done well, it is likely to cause post-rework repair. Therefore, ensure that the key details are correct during the window installation process.

1. The profile and wall thickness of the window should meet the design requirements. The fittings used should be made of stainless steel or galvanized.

2. The window installation should be horizontal and vertical, leaving a certain gap with the wall of the hole. The cement should not be filled with cement mortar. It should be filled with elastic material and the surface should be sealed with sealant.

3. The installation of aluminum alloy window frame must be firm. The number, position, burying method and frame connection method of the embedded parts must meet the design requirements. It is strictly forbidden to fix the door and window on the masonry with nails. The opening direction and installation position of the aluminum alloy window The connection method should meet the design requirements.

4, aluminum alloy window sash, must be installed firmly, push-pull fan must have reliable anti-shedding measures. The sash should be opened and flexible, closed tightly, without tilting, and without a fan.

An electric planer is a power tool with a rotating blade drum; it is designed for the chip-re-moving treatment of mainly wood or plastic surfaces. The Electric Planer is similar in design, handing and performance to the conventional and generally well knows manual planer. The high rotational speed of the universal motor is transmitted to the blade drum by an elastic belt drive.
