Introduction of the method of breeding fruit

Habits of life: The fruit is adaptable and warm and humid. It belongs to Xiyang plant, bright light is beneficial to leaf growth, and leaves are bright; when the light is too dark, the leaves become smaller. The growth temperature is 15~25°C. When the temperature is below 15°C, the growth slows down. When the winter temperature is lower than 10°C, the leaves will appear yellowish off; the summer shading rate is 40%~60%, and the winter does not block. It is best to use fertile slightly acidic soils, requiring high water content and high air humidity.

Breeding techniques: The fruit is usually used for cutting propagation. It can also be cut directly from the branches with aerial roots. It can also be propagated by tissue culture. Cuttings are often carried out from May to October. When the temperature is above 15t:, the cuttings are cut to take 2 to 3 knots at the top of the stem or 2 to 3 knots in the middle of the stem. The base can be retained and inserted into the bed soil to continue sprouting new branches. The bed soil is suitable for river sand, vermiculite or moss. After 10 to 15 days of insertion, roots can be taken.

Cultivation management: It is easy to cultivate the fruit, and the potted substrate is most suitable for loose and fertile, well-drained humus soil or peat soil. It needs sufficient sunshine in spring to early summer, and semi-yin in summer. If the room is overcast, it will cause the stem section to be long, the leaf color is not bright, and the unique brilliance is lost. In the high temperature period in summer, in addition to watering every morning, the leaves need to be sprayed several times. From May to September, the stem and leaf growth period is applied once every half month. Outdoor cultivation, because of the strong wind blowing, stems should not stay too long. In the winter indoor maintenance, avoid basins and soils too wet, otherwise encounter low temperature and high humidity, it will cause root rot death or yellowing of leaves, affecting the ornamental effect. In the summer and autumn, the stems and leaves grow rapidly, and the potted plants should be harvested in time to increase the branches and reach the stems and leaves. Cultivation in hanging pots, stems and vines drooping, if the growth is too long and too dense, also need to be thin and neat, in order to maintain a beautiful plant. Adult plants can be re-cut when they change pots in the spring, allowing them to re-emerge new shoots.

There are few pests in the fruit. In case of dry weather, there may be red spiders, which can be sprayed with 800% to 80% dichlorvos EC. If the soil is too moist, it will lead to root rot. It can be sprayed with 1000-1200 times of carbendazim and Baijingqing, or directly rooted with 500 times of water.
