The entire exterior material of the "bamboo house" is bamboo, and most of the interior flooring and wall decorations and furniture are made of bamboo. Professor Tan Hongwei, the project instructor, said that the biggest feature of Bamboo House is the integration of traditional Chinese architectural elements and solar photovoltaic power generation systems, and the use of pitched roofs to maximize the efficiency of solar photovoltaic power generation. Moreover, its main material, bamboo, is a natural material that grows fast and is environmentally friendly. The Bamboo House incorporates the original ecological architectural style of South China. The interior is pale yellow and elegant bamboo and the walls are decorated with Chinese calligraphy banners and Chinese paintings. The living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and other spaces are well-designed.
