How to prevent visual fatigue of LCD monitor

After changing the monitor from CRT to LCD, the eyes are more tired than before. What is a good way?

Try adjusting the brightness and contrast of the monitor and changing the background color to see how it looks. If you have to face the LCD monitor for a long time every day, maybe it's time to install a visual protection screen.

Looking at computer monitors makes my eyes tired. I'm afraid anyone has encountered this kind of experience. If this state continues, it will cause eye strain, and there will be blurred vision, sore shoulders, headache, body fatigue, and decreased vision.

Causes of eye fatigue include: light and reflected light reflected on the display, flickering of the picture, etc.

Compared with CRT, LCD monitors basically do not have the problem of screen flicker. In contrast, mapping light and reflected light has become a problem for LCD monitors. When fluorescent lamps or human faces are mapped on the screen, it becomes more difficult to read the picture and make the eye muscle activity exceed the normal level. It can be said that it is this reason that causes eye fatigue.

In addition, liquid crystal monitors have recently developed toward high brightness and high contrast. Although this is conducive to color display, it also makes eyes more prone to fatigue.

Therefore, when working with LCD monitors, try to find ways to avoid eye strain.

Adjust the brightness, contrast and color of the picture

Adjust picture contrast and brightness. However, if ordinary monitoring work is carried out for a long time, proper reduction of contrast and brightness can reduce eye strain.

The LCD monitor has the functions of adjusting the brightness and contrast, vertical deviation and tilt, and so on. Try these functions to adjust the brightness and contrast. But if the brightness and contrast are too low, it is more likely to cause eye fatigue, so try to adjust it to your own condition a few more times.

As for the adjustment method, please refer to the manual of each monitor.

In addition, through the screen settings of Windows, you can also change the color configuration of the window. Select [Display] on the control panel and click [Appearance] → [Detailed Settings] in order, and you can change to your favorite color configuration.

In the initial setting, since the white of the window background is too strong, changing it to cream or light green will have a good effect. Please select [Window] in [Advanced] and use [Color 1] to change to your favorite color.

Depending on the software, sometimes even after making the above changes, the window color cannot be changed. In the menus of such software, most of them have separate window background setting instructions, please confirm through the help.

Install the screen saver on the screen
To avoid eye fatigue by reducing screen reflections and mapping, the most effective way is to install a screensaver on the screen.

Transmittance refers to the ratio of light passing through the screen. The smaller the value, the darker the color of the screen. When there are many processing operations such as pictures and photos, you need to be as close to natural colors as possible, so you should choose products with high transmittance values (about 80 to 90%). And people who usually feel that the screen is dazzling are better to choose products with lower transmittance (50 to 70%).

Cobalt, elemental symbol Co, silvery white ferromagnetic metal, slightly silvery white on surface, 4th period in Periodic Table, Group VIII, atomic number 27, atomic weight 58.9332, hexagonal close packed, common valence of +2 , +3. Cobalt is a shiny steel gray metal, relatively hard and brittle, ferromagnetic, magnetic disappeared when heated to 1150 ℃. Cobalt has valences of +2 and +3. It does not interact with water at room temperature and is stable in humid air. Cooled to CoO when heated in air to above 300 ° C, and burned into Co3O4 when whitened. Hydrogen reduction method made of fine metallic cobalt powder in the air can spontaneous combustion of cobalt oxide. Cobalt is an important raw material for the production of heat-resistant alloys, hard alloys, anti-corrosion alloys, magnetic alloys and various cobalt salts.
